Workin' For the Weekend!

Oh my, it has been a crazy and long week! I also think that happens after a particularly fun weekend; inevitably you get hit with a killer week at work.

However, I have a perfect excuse to take it easy this weekend. According to the news, it is going to pour down rain ALL weekend! yikes! Therefore, I see movies and manicures in my future...

Tonight I am going to see the Blind Side again. Yes, it is a repeat, but the movie is playing at a local independent theater that serves food and wine and only charges $5.50 a ticket, so I am in!
On a random note, last night, D and I scored a great deal on patio furniture on Craigs list! I am so excited to start turning the backyard into a garden oasis! Last summer we were so busy working on necessary improvements to the house that we didn't get around to outdoor decorating. Now though, I am desperate for a nice outdoor space after what I am calling "the long winter." I even went on HGTV's website to see if we could sign up for one of the "pimp my backyard" shows, but they didn't need anyone in our area. Oh well, I will just have to do it myself. The bad news is that outdoor furniture is so expensive, but using Craig's List has been the best! I am excited to see if we can "transform our outdoor space" just like on TV!
These are some "inspiration photos." Unfortunately, when you buy things on Craig's List, you are at the mercy of someone else's tastes, but as long as I can create something fun and inviting, I have succeeded!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Can you come to my house? My back yard needs serious work. That movie place sounds like a blast! I love Blind Side...I would be all over a repeat show.
