I have had a very recent obsession that would very much surprise people who know me. I abhor scary movies, violence, blood and anything ghoulish at all (I have nightmares easily). However, I have become literally addicted to the “Twilight Saga” books by Stephanie Meyer.I know I am a little late to the party here, but if you haven’t read them yet or are worried that the books are too juvenile /weird/sci-fi/violent or any other adjective, consider picking one up again. I have honestly been unable to put them down since I first discovered them! D is reading them and loves them just as much (and reading the same books has been really fun!) I tore through all four books, and now I am just so sad that the saga is over!
The story is very compelling and fascinating, even for someone who has never been at all interested in vampires and other legendary tales. I really wish I had known about these books in the summer because they are the perfect beach read…fast-moving, romantic, and action-packed!!
Also, is anyone else excited about the movie? I don’t know how they will execute the books, but I am excited to see Hollywood try!

GIRL!!! I'm so right there with ya! I devoured these books and I absolutely cannot wait for the movie, I may need to go back and read the books again once I've seen the movie! ; )

I'm looking forward to the movie...somehow, though, the guy playing Edward (even though he's very good looking) isn't AS good looking as the Edward in my mind's eye.
I just found your blog, and just like you, I'm so obsessed with the books! I've never been into the whole vampire scary movie deal either, but the books are so good! Did you see the movie? I thought they did a great job of turning Twilight into a script :)
