In addition to wearing the cone, Dundee hasn’t been able to get a bath or run or play with other dogs for two weeks. Poor guy!
However, yesterday, Dundee marched bravely back into the vets office (actually it took some coaxing and treats, can’t blame him), and he got his stitches out and the cone came off!! He looked ten times happier when he marched out! Then, it was onto Petsmart for his first bath in weeks! Again, he was so good and patient about the whole thing. I was very proud!
Later, I took him for a walk, and he was positively prancing down the street!! No cone, a fresh new hair-do, and smelling good for the first time in weeks…Dundee was a new man, I mean, dog!

It's so much better once they get their stiches out because they aren't always trying to scratch them and I know my dog loved getting the cone off his head :)
Yay for Dundee!!!
Double yay for the Dunder-dog! He's such a sweet looking dog!! Our dog, Marley, is a little prancer too -- so cute. My hubby has even been asked if he's a "show" dog, because of his proud little walk. Awww ...
I remember dropping my puppy off at the vet for his ...ahem.. procedure. I got in the car and cried. I called my mom. I can laugh about it now (kind of) but that reunion when I picked him up was one of the best moments ever...
So sweet that he was so excited to be home and with YOU!
