Ready for Christmas!

Today I am distributing little homemade gifts around the office and trying not to tap my feet with impatience. I remember the days in high school when the teachers just admitted the fact that we were not going to learn or retain anything mere days before Christmas and let us watch movies in class. I think all workplaces should adopt that some attitude! I am trying to get some inane tasks done and then I think I will organize my desk in an attempt to start the New Year organized!

I am distributing “Reindeer Mix” to those colleagues who are still here. My family makes this delish snack every year and it is so simple to make!

Mix together 3 cups of rice chex, 3 cups of corn chex, 3 cups of cheerios, 3 cups of bite-sized pretzels, 3 cups of dry roasted peanuts, and a big bag of holiday m&ms. Melt a bag of white chocolate, pour over mix and stir until covered, spread it out and let it dry and you have reindeer mix! I stick the mix in little holiday bags and attach a little card and spread the joy!

I am so sorry that I don’t have pictures to share.

Last night I had extra chex cereal so I made the recipe for “muddy buddies” on the back of the box. It is addicting! I can see it also becoming a holiday favorite!

Have a great day!
