When I got into work, I was greeted by a voicemail from the west coast about a mistake I made, and it threw me into a tailspin. I think it can be smoothed over, but in my work, missing even a minor detail is trouble, and this was a fairly large detail. I am honestly shaking as I write this. I know I can be a bit of a perfectionist, but it cuts me to the core to think that others may be doubting my competency because of a stupid mistake. Oh dear.
Deep breath. I need to, as my father would say, "shake it off" and move on.
Have a good day and stay dry!
